Just like in plants, we plant seeds then we reap our harvest, and so is with our talent and gifting. You can be very talented and never see it’s full potential because it has never be sown. Sowing requires hard work, discipline and patience but it’s the crucial part to see how glorious your talent is. In sowing there is a multiplication that happens, you sow a seed, which grows into a tree and bears fruits. Notice that this can’t happen in reverse, you can’t have a tree or enjoy it’s fruits without sowing of the seed. Nobody was born empty, God gave something to all of us, but most of us have never been trained on how to sow.
“Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him”
Your talent is the seed, it’s your responsibility to make it useful. When you train and practice your planting your seed, when it grows and bear fruits everybody notices. Now, sowing is not easy, but the bible says when we do it, even when we feel pain we shall reap with joy! I like what verse 6 says ” He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing…”By saying continually it shows there has to be faithfulness in what your doing, you get rewarded for your faithfulness, it’s not a one time thing then you see results, it will take you giving yourself wholly to the training to see your talent develop.
You shall doubtless reap with rejoicing when you sow in tears!
